Why I Hate Most Cruelty-Free Mascaras

Crueltyfree Mascaras

You’d think it would be simple to find a cruelty-free mascara. Personally, I’m not difficult as far as mascara goes. Face Atelier Products

Ever since I learned that MAC Cosmetics is no longer cruelty-free (jerks), I have been on a Quest to find a cruelty-free foundation to replace what I had been using. Complete look

If you have read a few of the makeup posts on this blog, you’ve probably noticed that we believe makeup for cosplay is very important and that we invest a bit of time and money in it. Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder (to-go size) and Sephora

Name: HD Microfinish Powder
Brand: Make Up For Ever
Price: C$35 or C$18 (to go size)
Purchased from: Sephora

The HD Microfinish Powder from Make Up For Ever has been keeping my skin matte since I started using it a few months ago and I love it. It makes my skin look like satin! I also always apply a generous amount of it on my face and neck when I cosplay. That’s why I was horrified when I came across pictures of celebrities with awful cases of makeup malfunction which were attributed to this product.
