Finally, there is light at the end of the tunnel. My quest for a lipstick that works with my sensitive lips is over!! (Probably. For now.)
Lip-Ink is a 3 steps system. I ordered the trial kit in Hot Pink, which is quite generous with the lipstick but not so much with the moisturizer and primer/cleaner.
I’m always on the lookout for a lipstick that will work with my sensitive lips and when I saw Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Love Lipstick in very hot pink at Sephora, I just had to give it a try.
Despite its name Liquid Love Lipstick is more of a cross between a lipgloss and a lip stain than a lipstick. It applies like a lipgloss, dries like a matte lipstick and once it’s on, it stays on like a lipstain.
Pros: wide range of shades, long-lasting, good medium coverage
Cons: does not apply as smoothly as teint idole 14h, slightly cakey
I had been using the Teint Idole Ultra 14h foundation for over a year before Lancôme replaced it with this new formula, now boasting a 24h lasting power. I was happy with the foundation and hoped 24h would do even better.
Over the years I must’ve tried dozens of different foundations, here is a review of the latest pharmacy brand I tried.
Name of Product: Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25H Foundation
Where Purchased: Well.ca (online pharmacy)
Product Description: A medium coverage long-lasting liquid foundation available in 11 shades.
